It’s the new model. Threaten to leave so your mediocre player can play up and displace your more loyal players, but this model evolved with all the new coaches added so they could maintain the program here. Expect a shift again next year when the experienced players realizes their coach sold them out….AGAIN. It will debase the entire VRSC model. ED is a very bad coach but he still holds a lot of influence. Thankfully he’s not the 11 coach anymore.

As for VRSC, I agree maybe not much, if any P4 talent, but some of those players will likely play at small and Mid Major D1 schools. Maybe some go to High Academic DII or DIII. Dunno, time will tell. Doesn't matter as maybe one, maybe two from DMV will play professionally. Funny thing is some of those DIII players will make more money fresh out of college than any of the D1 players or professional players. A 3-1 score in football is not considered a close game. The losing team wasn't drubbed but the winning team won by a comfortable margin and likely wasn't concerned about losing.
There are no "high academic" Division II schools. That isn't to say they are all terrible schools. Some are "Ok" but that is about it academically. Yeah, some of their better teams are better than lower DI teams on the playing field. Same as with some of the best DIII teams. However, most kids aren't going DII for learning reasons, unless it's because they are a decidedly average to below average student who can't get into a better school.
You type a lot but say very little of anything with substance or truth to it.

Here is something of substance. Your VDA team can’t beat last seasons last place ECNL team or the 5th place team. Meanwhile, your competition absolutely destroyed them on the very same weekend. That is very apples to apples.
Better get your USYNT players back soon because results like that are very telling. Like the 09s aren’t very good without only two of its players. Good thing the top NVA players came because the team probably would have lost, just like they used to before BP brought all of those players.[i]

Didn't that same VDA team go to the Round of 16 the two years prior to BP showing up? Just sayin'. Yeah, the loss of a starting player to injury and another starter to camp has to have some effect on the team, but there always seemed to be a lot of other solid players there as well (including the new additions). And yes, there is a steeper hill to climb to get into the playoffs this year for a team with two draws to start off, but it is still one of the most competitive teams in area, if not the best team North of Richmond and South of Philly (for what that's worth, but competitive even those teams).

He coaches one girls team, the 3rd team for that age group. My beat is when they find someone to take over as coach he will be done with that too. You’ll see when all the messiness starts leaking out.
I just looked the team up that NE coaches it is the U11 Pre GA team so that is the 2nd level team in that age group.
It’s the top team in that age group
Pre-GA is top team
Then there is Pre-GA2 and Black
GA starts at U13 so U11 and U12 top teams are Pre-GA
Oh, my mistake I didn't realize this age group didn't have GA. I don't have a girl in soccer there, sorry about that.

Jealous because your child isn’t able to make the vda squad or if they took your money she wouldn’t be rostered on game day. Vda girls all playing for free or close to it and getting the perks of D1. Who is to say they all don’t go off to grad school and be very successful. Don’t be jealous of the NVA, Bethesda, Richmond and VDA girls who have a home at D1 schools. Keep trying to justify it all. I hope your post about how much your DD will make made you feel good about your DD who seems not to be wanted by any schools. It's easy to be rivals with other clubs but have a respect for them. It seems like nobody outside of VRSC has any respect for the club. Why do you think that is? It certainly is not born out of fear.
