Related to the earlier post on men coaches, the thing we will miss most about YJMA is the excellent women coaches who were supportive and positive of each of our girls. My daughter learned so much from them and they plan to stay with the team.

Coaches were awesome role models for young women. Any young player would be fortunate to have them as their coaches.

Sounds like you just outgrew the team. Good to hear that the coaches and team are still an option for 2030s.

Hilarious! Not even a close assessment...the whole team looked for an escape plan. This is not a simple "outgrowing the team". This environment was completely toxic and the mass exodus was no coincidence.

Good to see the TM is still making sure to get posts removed that tell the truth. Multiple posts on here about TRUE statements all of a sudden just disappeared.

What happened? I saw some pretty poor behavior from parents on each team we played, but I would by no means characterize an entire team's parents based on the behavior of a few......

Under the guidance of our region’s foremost authority on feminine empowerment, positivity radiates from every drill. Mistakes are not mistakes; they are brave acts of self-expression. Ground balls are affirmations. Turnovers are growth opportunities. Conditioning is optional if your truth says you’re tired.

This is not merely lacrosse. It is healing. It is empowerment. It is a sisterhood of radical affirmation where confidence blooms untouched by accountability, discomfort, or the dangerous notion that excellence sometimes requires hard coaching.

Namaste.

LOL. I have heard the exact opposite of this program.

this all sounds so dysfunctional, regardless of what's true.
