Anonymous wrote:Gonzaga apparently was missing their army defender 2023 and their Georgetown mid 2023 at the madlax event. So wouldn’t look to much into that, plus they only lost to a very good haverford team by 1. Also I wouldn’t put them up with sjc prep and bullis, they are definitely better then sssas and pvi.

Coaches rarely scout HS these days. Maybe a college coach calls a HS coach in a specific area and asks if there are any players nobody is looking at that maybe they should give a look too. Then they might send an assistant to see a game.
If it’s all about the club, then why go to private at all?

1. SJC until anyone from the DC area can beat them. It will be interesting to see how they handle the pressure of being the "hunted" as everyone is now aiming to de-thrown the Cadets.
2. Prep until anyone from the IAC proves otherwise. Can the DC Dawgs live up to the hype and play team high school ball.
3. Landon looks to be very athletic at all positions in the field. Scoring could be an issue with Hertzburg now at Michigan.
4. Bullis brings back the best offensive player in the region (Tucker Wade) and best LSM in the area (Charlie Muller).
5. Saint Stephens has a very senior-laden team this Spring, they will be battle-tested and will have a chip on their shoulder.
HM:
Gonzaga - I wasn't impressed with Gonzaga two weeks ago at the Mad Lax event at Landon. Maybe they were missing some kids but these are not the same Gonzaga teams we are used to watching the past 5 years.
Bullis does not have the best LSM in the area. Prep does by far with their Duke commit. He is superhuman.
