3 grade
NNAT 138 (1 grade)
COGAT 140 (2 grade)
WISC 99% (from the last year - rejected, appealed - rejected)
GBRS - no idea
Level II (since 1 grade) + Advanced Math
AAP IV - IN

Congrats! Another kid who should have been in last year!

Seriously. Another example of ignoring standardized measures and giving more weight to objective measures (GBRS). As a parent of a child that should have gotten in 1st round 2 yrs ago (NNAT 136; COGAT 143; DAS 145 - administered by FCPS; WISC 149) and had to appeal, maybe they should consider that it would save them a ton of time if these kids got in the 1st round instead of going through repeated appeals.

You know you're going to be asked what school. What school?

I'm assuming the AARTs that have notified parents don't have many to notify. It would be very poor form to only notify some of the parents. Definitely a nice gesture from the AARTs to pick up the slack from the central office.

So essentially we have to wait till Monday April 12th.

This IS the first week of April.

It said April 5 and April 6.

Not one person has received an official result from the AAP office? So much for April 8.

1. Too many applicants
2. Disconnect or inconsistencies between applications and parent email IDs on file (taking longer due to large volume?)
3. Whatever link you need to click to confirm your acceptance isn't working/not set up/other issues..
4. AAP office understaffed.. again brings me to #1

Gee, you’d think they have never done this before!

Can we all flood the AAP office with emails, and complaints? This is ridiculous.
