Who isn't acknowledging that the Dr. Suess foundation is pulling some of its books because of harmful content?
The people who say "woke liberals" aren't doing this simply because the heads of the Seuss Foundation got woke but didn't send out a formal announcement of their wokeness.

Some people decided those things needed to change in society, went about seeking like minded people. When enough people believed that way, people that are serving the public (companies with broad based appeal as an example), changed their practices. This is not some new phenomenon. Why aren’t we all sitting around a campfire discussing the movement of the herd? Because society evolves.

Yes, and so am I. But this is a particular type of activity. It does have a technical name, but I doubt you would understand it any better. It's called iconoclasm. I don't think we've had a good iconoclasm controversy since the Reformation. But this is what they are like. Arguing over silly things like word meanings. So buck up.
