This is the Republican world view. Our Founding Fathers had a different world view- that politicians were opportunists but that ambition would check ambition through the balance of power implemented in three branches of government.
This is the Democratic world view. You think you are pure and honorable, that the other side is corrupt and evil. But the truth is, we are just two peas in a pod. You are not the angels you think you are and Republicans are not the devils you caricature us as.
Again, I'm not a Democrat or a Republican. I'm a Christian. Christians keep their word. McConnell needs to keep his.
Oh please, you Christians can't even agree on the content of the Bible, stop holding your religious beliefs up as if it gives you some moral authority. It does not. Your morals are as relative as the rest of us, you just don't realize it because your thought leader told you that you are special.

In September 2017, The New York Times reported that Barrett was a member of a small, tightly knit Charismatic Christian group called People of Praise;[68] members of the group swear a life-long oath to one another and are assigned a personal advisor (a "head" or "handmaiden") that gives direction on important personal decisions.
This is incredibly troubling and I'm a Catholic and registered Republican (but not a Trump supporter).
Go after her religion in the hearings- see how it works for you.
Republicans have no qualms about going after Muslim’s religion. Are you pointing out the double standard?

DP. I am a regular (but former) Republican voter and political moderate. I hate the Bernie end of the Democratic party. But I don't think they are actively trying to destroy the country like I believe Trump and his grifters are.
+1 same here.
If you honestly ascribe evil intentions to people who hold different political views than you, you were never a Republican, just a lost Democrat. Which is a difficult thing to do, but yet some how you did it.

He needs to let the next President decide the nomination. If he doesn't, it will tear this country apart.
What makes you think McConnell cares about this country? He has no core beliefs beyond holding on to power.
