Yes please! She was pathetic. Told Shekar that she wanted to be friends then was turned off that he treated her like a friend. Destroys this poor guy, then karma comes knocking when the next guy wants to stay friends. "How many times can you be told you want to be friends?!" She must get dumped a lot.

I enjoyed season 1 but was very disappointed in the first episode of season 2. The people, even the ones from season 1, are much less likable and the whole thing seemed over the top. I might watch another episode and give it another chance though.

I just binged all of season 2 based on this thread. (I didn't realize it was season 2, thought I had started with season 1.) I'm not Indian, so I found it fascinating. The most surprising thing to me (as an outsider) was the very frank conversation about the future/marriage on the first date. Here, even mentioning exclusivity on an early date is kind of seen as a red flag (too intense/needy/controlling), but the Indians on the show start right talking about what they're looking for in a spouse. I mean, they're using a matchmaker to find a spouse so the goal is obvious, but it is still surprising. And refreshing, actually.

Do PPs who've watched recommend season 2?

I binged it all yesterday! The plastic surgery on Shital is off-putting.

I really enjoyed the shows-its hilarious. i did not know tall women were such a thing-unlike in US culture where it doesnt seem to be.

I’ve been binging this evening and I’m so glad to see it back for season two. I really enjoyed season one. It’s so nice to see so many of the original return this season. Ps - I absolutely think that Shekar is gay.
