Yeah, I’m not Catholic and I dislike religion in general, but I am aware of their excellent universities and respect them as such. I also don’t think acknowledging that Georgetown and Notre Dame are excellent, selective schools is “reverence” for Catholicism. Someone on this thread has strong opinions and an adolescent understanding of the military and the people who serve. No profession is immune from jerks but it’s a wildly diverse organization.

Just look at history. Compare Harvard ( or Yale, Princeton) president's to those from a service academy.

No comparison.


Since World War II, Harvard has had two presidents (FDR and JFK). Yale has had two (Bush). Princeton = bupkus. USNA and USMA each have had one (Carter and Ike, respectively).

No comparison?
