That is a nice one. I also liked Middlebury and Wellesley. Experience may vary significantly by time of year. For mid-sized campuses I like Princeton and William & Mary. Nice large campuses include Indiana University and Colorado.

Just got back from a visit to Northwestern University. The campus is spectacular, even in January. The campus is right on Lake Michigan, and includes a small beach. The running path on Lake Michigan links some buildings on campus. Lots of modern architecture.
