Pls correct me if I’m wrong. Police say there was a “miscommunication” and they’re running that down now because they shouldn’t have carried out the raid when the guy was already in jail (ya think?) No apology to the young woman with multiple bullet holes.

That has more to do with gang related murders and other instances where no witnesses will cooperate with law enforcement. But if you want to see it as an outcome of racism go right ahead.

The person who suffered this humiliation is a 65 year old Black woman. Yep, the irony is rich.
More than a dozen members of a local African American women’s empowerment group, the 504 Queens, were attending a Nov. 3 showing. According to NOLA.com, they had reserved their seats at the AMC Clearview Palace 12 in Metairie, La., in advance. But after the movie started that Sunday night, they said, the theater’s employees began treating them suspiciously and questioning whether they really had tickets and were in the right seats. Finally, a manager interrupted the film to confront them as everyone else in the audience stared.
“We were watching people being whipped, being shot in the head, their children being sold away from them,” she said. “And then you shut down this movie, this emotional movie, and come to me about a ticket dispute? It felt like the 1800s again in 2019.”
Taking an extraordinary steps to address this issue, AMC said it would create a training video for all employees, as part of their remedy for this behavior.
