I don't think it has been said. Sheen says he learned of the diagnosis "about 4 years ago." So was that November 2011? June 2011? (earlier than June 2011?) Or maybe January 2012? It is hard to say. He was fired from 2.5 Men in March 2011. I think all the WINNING! and Tiger blood stuff was about the same time that he was fired. But that bender seemed to last for at least 2 months.
That bender went on for a long time. He did a tour of shows, which were basically people watching him be crazy on stage. And he did the Comedy Central Roast around that time, too.

Not really. Since he is HIV+, the smoking is a significantly bigger problem than if he wasn't HIV+ (like you).

Not really. Since he is HIV+, the smoking is a significantly bigger problem than if he wasn't HIV+ (like you).

he was truly squirrely on this question. Something about roid rage? It made NO sense.
I think he freaked the eff out after his diagnosis. Went on a drug binge of some sort.

He said in the interview that the diagnoses came on the heels of his 'roid meltdown. Whatever that means. It would make more sense if his very public "Tiger Blood" meltdown came AFTER his diagnosis. But with Sheen who knows which came first - the chicken or the egg.

It all adds up.. cigarrettes are horrible for your lungs, endurance and if you are vain, you will get smoke lines on your upper lips and so on.. Just avoid.

Agreed- he looked decent yesterday,but the makeup people can cover a LOT.
I don't wish his diagnosis on anyone. You don't really want anyone to get HIV. Or anything that could lead to death.
Sadly, it isn't at all surprising. His lifestyle put him at incredibly high risk. Not saying he deserved it, but it is honestly surprising it was only recently that he contracted it given that he has been like like this for probably 30 years now.
I don't wish his diagnosis on anyone. You don't really want anyone to get HIV. Or anything that could lead to death.

What is so sad here is that the ONLY reason Charlie Sheen confessed this was because he was being blackmailed and was on the verge of full exposure so that is the only reason he did it. For his own needs. And that says a lot about his character.
But on the flip side, any women who sleeps with him after knowing his past, remember he was in Madam Heidi Fleiss's black book.....Is just asking for it. If they were smart, they would have jumped into a pond and swam with a few alligators. But Charlie was a looker back then.
Now at the ripe old age of fifty, not so much.
He looks haggard, beat down, tired and just OLD.
He actually looked decent yesterday. A lot better than he has in past few years.
I also thought he looked fairly decent yesterday, but I am sure he had a lot of make-up on.
