Np. Why do people assume the bio dad is more sincere than the Capobiancos? Honestly, everything I've seen shows he just as focused on winning (particularly against his ex), than actually caring what's in the best interest of Veronica. We'd like to assume that blood is thicker than water, but that's not so true in reality.

Apparently the adoptive mother did a "private" illegal adoption as she was banned from adopting through the DSS in SC due to a DUI and arrest for drinking...it is also rumored that she is on psychotropic medication. I guess money can buy anyone with it anything they want.

We need major adoption reform in this country.

Because it is about the Capobiancos wanting to be parents and not about Veronica. If it were about Veronica they would have done an ethical and moral adoption that they could have been proud of.

+10000 How those people could do this to that child is beyond me! Everything they did was shady from the start. They give adoption a bad name and hurt those of us who try to have a decent and open adoption. Not to let the father even have 10 hours of supervised visitation is tragic for Veronica who deserves to be raised and know her father who loves and wants her. They are selfish people who are going to ruin her. Sadly, this situation happens often and there are very few protections in place for the biological family.

So saddened by this case. I simply do not understand why the Capobiancos couldn't relinquish their pride to allow this very wanted child to live with her father.

She was also ripped away from her half sister and her many young cousins. She is going from a lively household living by extended family members to a household with older parent with no other children or any extended family. By the time she is 16 to 18 I will bet she runs back to her biological family. In 14 she will be an adult and celebrate holidays with her bio family and never visit her adoptive ones.
