Many of those folks in that ultra wealthy class of people are the same people who are controlling our politicians with their political "donations" and therefore the tax the rich tax reform measures will never pass.
Tax the ultra wealthy much more and the middle class less. No one needs hundreds of millions of dollars in excess cash to buy out our corrupt politicians.
I said the top 50%, not the top 5%.

The more telling stat is having the top 1% earn up to 20% on the total income earned in a given year. I'm not here to suggest we lump in the upper middle class with those who need to be paying much more in income tax. Who falls in the upper middle class tier of earners is subjective to where someone lives. The ultra wealthy have the means to pay much more regardless of where they live. The gap is very, very wide.

What you say specifically about Harris may be true but even if she were a legitimately presidential candidate, she still would have had no chance of winning due to her being Biden's VP.
