I hate this. I don't think the gold suits her and I hate the neckband and wristbands.
Agree. It's so matronly. The phrase, a "handsome woman" comes to mind.
She’s 76 so maybe she felt anxious about not dressing mutton as lamb. But I agree it could have been a little less…buttoned up. Either a more open neckline or more open sleeves. I like the color on her though and I think the silhouette is also in keeping with her general style. I think she looks 10 years younger than her age, at least!
Kathy Bates is 77 and looks MUCH better in this dress - also age appropriate, but more feminine and just plain prettier than Sigourney's dress.
This is lovely but she was the only one in the Reiners memorial segment who wasn’t wearing black which I didn’t love.
OMG.
Sorry, but if I were the only person on stage sticking out like this I would be mortified. This was custom and could have been done in a darker color.
Who cares. Seriously.

What? She has *never* been very curvy. Her natural body type is a little tiny thing. Always has been.
Kelly Ripa was much more curvy in her early years, even had some cleavage. While she wasn't overweight, I wouldn't call her a "little tiny thing" back then.
Kelly from her soap opera days:

Again, normal, not tiny.
I mean, she is tiny -- that's her husband, Marc Consuelos, who is also tiny. It think Kelly and Marc have shared orthorexia (they exercise together a lot and I think knowing the other is also very small pushes them to keep at it because neither wants to be the "big" one of the partner when they are photographed together. I'm sure they also have a chef/nutritionist who keeps their house free of sugar or any fat except like lean salmon or any processed foods. I think it being a joint endeavor likely makes the obsession worse and helps with the "discipline" it takes to be that small in their mid-50s.
The point is that she is considerably thinner now than she was as an already thin young woman.

I think she's gorgeous, and that dress looked amazing on her!
Agree, but for me Rose Byrne was the clear #1.
