You have to carry a gun just to go to the store. Someone mention no corporations want to be headquartered here its because of the high crime. Discovery packed up and left because of the downtown Silver Spring crime. Marriott is thinking of leaving. You can't even go for a walk in a strip center, window shopping without someone coming up and asking for money. I thought they only did that in DC.
MoCo is very safe. In contrast, NoVA is a total cesspool. Here are some recent examples:

Amazon totally reneged on all of its promises to Arlington. The helix building is never going to be built, and it's laying people off in droves. And Boeing just moved its HQ from Arlington to St. Louis. To compensate, NoVA has decided on a strategy of building data centers everywhere.
As for homeless, wowza they're everywhere in Nova:

NoVa is in deep decline, and so its residents want to detract from that decline by focusing on MoCo. I know lots of people who are in the process of moving from the sinking ship that is Nova.

It’s smaller than Tyson’s yes but it has everything I need for mall things. I get jeans from Macys, stuff from j crew and from the tailor downstairs, and the jewelers there (the ljungqvist place or however you call it) are super nice and attentive of my watches. Wheaton mall is a more average mall land yea, it’s seen better days
If Westfield lets the mall become 50 percent vacant and builds a little housing on the property, they get a 20-year property tax abatement thanks to Andrew Friedson. Westfield and its local counsel have donated thousands of dollars to Friedson.
Your anti Friedson posts are unhinged. You aren't having the effect you want.
I get that his record isn’t what he claims it to be so you wouldn’t want people bringing it up. Notably you never claim these things aren’t true. That’s because they are.
Everyone on Council voted for that bill except Jawando. Everyone on Council voted to overturn the veto except Jawando and Mink. You act like Friedson functions in a silo and is all powerful. He's not.

Everyone of these stories is from 2022 and 2023. Stories like the ones you’re citing happen at Wheaton Mall every month. You don’t have to go back in the way back machine to the Biden administration to find them.
Just please stop. If Tysons was so crime infested there wouldn’t be condos there selling for $2.8 million. There are brand new 4,000 sq ft SFHs near Wheaton Mall that are barely going for $1.5 million.
