This is a joke, right? Every woman dreams of getting married. Not all of them get the chance.
The joke is that PP called TS and/or her fan base young. She’s about to be 36 years old and her avg fan is a mid 30s millennial leftover.
Sure, because it became a rich flex to blow $1000 on a ticket and dress up for social media. Her avg fan is middle aged. Teen girls are not obsessed with a 36 year old cringe machine.
Do you even have a daughter? I wouldn't say my child is obsessed with Taylor Swift, but she's the favorite artist of many girls in her social group.

The entire situation is like a cheesy lifetime movie come to life. She got her football player who was also born in 1989 and who started with a bracelet and a dream.
I really thought that they were surely seeing each other earlier in the summer of 23, but it turns out he really was just crushing on her and managed to get her attention by late July thanks to the New Heights guy who put "that clip" on social media.
Also, Travis was 'wrapped into her poems' even before Matty if we want to go there. Football players were a feature of a few of her very early songs. The Invisible String and all.
It is really an American Fairy Tale.
Don’t you think she should be with a more fit/handsome football player? Travis is not it.
Taylor’s problem is that she has a type - skinny, artsy, pseudo intellectual, creative, brooding - but this type does not want a partner like her. Her whole existence is too curated, calculated, corporate to be appealing to that.
I’ve always found it interesting how Americans perceive healthy, normal weight as skinny, and overweight as somehow strong and attractive. Propaganda at its finest.

Her parents are older and want grandkids. He’s dumb but she made the right choice

My 3rd grader ran a Taylor Swift club at school last year where they listened to and then discussed a different TS song every day. They ranked songs and kept notes.
My 12 yo and all her friends are totally obsessed. They can tell you Taylor address in Rhode Island, grandmother's name (Marjorie), and every obscure fact about her. They know the words to every song, like walking Taylor Swift lyrics banks. We recently went to a birthday party at the TS pop up in Alexandria.
