Group:
Vs. Oklahoma Energy 2-2 (Ranked 51 in App)
Vs. La Roca 2-2 (Ranked 49 in App)
Vs. FC Pride 3-2 (Ranked 37 in App)
Sweet 16 vs. Sting Royal 1-0 (Ranked 36 in App)
Kind of a joke they even made it.
Can only play the teams in front of you.
Exactly. It was a weak group, but they won it. Same with RU 09 and VDA 08. Easy draws but you still have to win (or tie).
RU 09:
1-0 vs Arizona Arsenal (29 in app)
2-1 vs Nationals (11 in app)
2-1 vs La Roca (59 in app)
2-2 vs FC Dallas, W in PKs (5 in app)
VDA 08:
3-0 vs Sting Austin (46 in app)
2-1 vs Legends (19 in app)
1-0 vs MVLA (28 in app)
3-2 vs Eagles (15 in app)
Ultimately, yes.. Union has by far the easiest path.
RU and VDA had significantly more difficult paths.

They did pick up some good talent from a recently imploded club however. Def will come down to coaching.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:This thread is cracking me up. Union 10s early on laughed at for their loss last year, then no props for being one of the few to make Richmond. Then criticize their coaching at the same time gloating that those same coaches are moving to your club. Stay classy Bethesda.
Or it could be a VDA coach that doesn’t want to play those players next year again.
Didn’t Csa, VDA, Union all tie for 1st place in the MA division? Union won on the third or fourth tiebreaker? VDA and CSA just lost in the round of 16. Union won their round of 16 game.
They are all about equal.
Equally mediocre.

This isn’t 2005 or even 2015. It is 2025 and CW is not that much of a draw especially for older players.

Lol. Better showing than many other conferences in San Diego.
Are you a BSC parent?
