That said, when you elevate stories like this a genius marketer (trump is) can easily pick several of the people who have been fired and have been public about it and change the narrative about how “generous” he is
Imagine the press of the IRS worker who just got fired being rehired and he talks about how amazing Trump was to reach out personally and get his job back….that will shut the whole FAFO movement up and boost trump.
Short term satisfaction should be exercised by energy at the ballot box and not at celebrating the misery of others

It’s not enjoying other people’s misery.
The people who voted in T brought this misery onto themselves and onto the rest of us. They wanted misery. They were all to excited to bring go misery onto others. The ones who did not vote T, the ones posting on this thread, voted Harris bc we did not want others to be hurt.
Don’t try to guilt shame the Harris voters here. This thread is important. I am mad so many people wanted to harm others. It was not my wish that they be hurt… that’s why I voted Harris.
But others saw President Biden and VP Harris as hurting people, so they voted for President Trump. If there is buyer's remorse, then we will find out in 2026 and 2028.
Uh yeah...
They were "hurt" by the existence of 10 trans athletes and the fact that we hire qualified blacks and qualified women just like we hire qualified whites.
Um, those weren't the top issues. The economy and the border were the top issues.
Trump was beatable, but Democrats couldn't do it.

The stories are important. If they are not talked about, then no one knows.
I think there are a lot of Republicans sitting around suffering in silence, keeping their mouths shut. Having grown up in a rural conservative part of the country, you're expected to toe the line and not speak out. If they start seeing more people like them speaking out they might start to realize they aren't alone in their silent suffering.

Just got laid off. He isn't MAGA, but always votes republican no matter what. I have been trying to talk sense into him for over 10 years and am having a hard time feeling much sympathy.
Thank him for sacrificing so we can MAGA…and suggest he retrain as a day laborer or orange picker.
Also, point out that the Republicans are telling everyone the only ppl let go were terrible, so he should have worked harder.
