Arlington looked strong, well organized, and coached well. They dominated the game in all facets. NVAs back line looked like they had never played together before nor did they look like any of them had ever played defense in their lives before this game. Everyone one of them, especially on the weak side, was ball watching. The center mids and back line gave Arlington way too much space on the ball. The coaches for NVA, if you want to call them that, never made any adjustments and it didn’t look like they did any coaching at all the entire game in my opinion. From what I was overhearing in the stands it sounds like that’s kind of status quo for this team. If I was a parent of an NVA daughter on this team, I’d probably be looking elsewhere. And I don’t say that bc they lost to a clearly dominate team, I say that bc the coaching was nonexistent and nothing seemed to change…
they held their own for a bit before the goals started coming. Not a horrible team but not Arl caliber. Matter of fact who is ?Anonymous wrote:I finally got a chance to watch the Arlington girls 2011 team play today. Unfortunately, the NVA 2011s didn’t make much of a game of it. uhhhhh game was scoreless and even for a good 20+mins. After the first score however it looked like the team gave up. In addition weird position changes from coaching and chirping w NVA sideline parents & refs didn’t help. U sound more like an NVA parent than Arl. Say it w ur chest lol. Rest of your views were spot on however.Anonymous wrote:I finally got a chance to watch the Arlington girls 2011 team play today. Unfortunately, the NVA 2011s didn’t make much of a game of it. It’s more than one age group at NVA.
