Because they want women at home and pregnant in their “correct” sphere. It’s part of MAGA. Remember that MAGA wants everyone back in the 1950s when women had no identity beyond their husbands.

Back when America was truly exceptional. Those were the best years for white heterosexual men this country.

Agreed. But why are republicans who are women, POC, LGBTQ voting for the GOP then? How could even the most mommy centered, I want my husband to take of me and to focus on my home not want to be an individual with a unique identity? I honestly can’t see what POC and LGBTQ find to support. The economy is not it because we have a strong economy now, but even if you can’t believe that, what does it matter if the economy is strong if you’re meaningfully excluded from it.

Once you’re done hyperventilating you will realize that nothing you mentioned affects the women, POC, or LGBTQ GOP supporters. In fact, they support these concepts of traditional American values regardless of how you think the GOP will treat them. You are all brainwashed.

This word salad is brought to you by inadequate education. Sad.

Think how the GOP will treat them? We already know. Trump crushed roe protections in his one term. A second term just gives him another opportunity to send us all further backwards.

Republicans seem to be going for the "if Democrats want it, it can't be good" strategy. They hate Democrats so much they will cut of their nose to spite their face. That is where we are now. Such immaturity. Like they're still in elementary school.

Or … and hear me out.
They are against birth control.
They are telling you who they are, what they believe, and what they plan to do.
It’s time to listen and believe them.

Don’t know whether to laugh or cry. Senate republicans blocked the bill because access to birth control is protected by the Supreme Court.

For all the people who moan about why the democrats didn’t protect abortion when they had the chance. This is why. The republicans would have killed it.

Post 06/05/2024 17:25     Subject: Re:The Republicans who want to ban birth control

“Republican lawmakers in Missouri blocked a bill to widen access to birth-control pills by falsely claiming they induce abortions. An antiabortion group in Louisiana killed legislation to enshrine a right to birth control by inaccurately equating emergency contraception with abortion drugs. An Idaho think tank focused on “biblical activism” is pushing state legislators to ban access to emergency contraception and intrauterine devices (IUDs) by mislabeling them as “abortifacients.”
Since the Supreme Court overturned the right to abortion two years ago, far-right conservatives have been trying to curtail birth-control access by sowing misinformation about how various methods work to prevent pregnancy, even as Republican leaders scramble to reassure voters they have no intention of restricting the right to contraception, which polls show the vast majority of Americans favor.”
