There is also at least one local top player on M&D, who I would guess will be attending public. I think the Hero's girls are mostly headed to private. Pride is a mix of public and private, with probably more than 50% headed to private. Don't forget about Stars, which has at least a few of the top local players who I think are staying public. Not sure whether any of these girls will be attending Visi.

Anonymous wrote:Agreed. PVI is a great option for Loudoun county kids or western Fairfax. Don’t see anyone driving in from Maryland to PVI.

Don’t disagree with this, but SR snags a lot of them.

Not looking for names just if there are talented players who are applying in 2028?
Definitely. I know of several that attended open house, shadow day, etc. Not 100% sure they will be applying, but chances are probably good that Visi legacies will be submitting.
Are these good lacrosse players?
Yes, several “talented” players.
No one good is going to Visi, stop the madness.
Few people even know who all the good players are, let alone where they may be applying to high school.
I’ll bet the coaches at SR, PVI, HC, Potomac etc know who all the good players are - and exactly where they are applying to HS.
Curious why this poster would include PVI and omit GC in this list since GC is ranked above all of these programs.
Probably bc this is a thread about Visitation and you can on one hand the number of girls applying to both Visitation and GC. Just a guess and no knock on GC which I agree is a great lax program.
The same handful would consider both Visi and PVI so there has to be a different reason ...

Many of the top 28s are public school kids as well.
