Why do they invite the winning team to the White House at all? I get it for pro sports but it makes no sense to just invite a couple of high profile teams in college sports to the exclusion of the rest of the champions.
From a coverage perspective, NCAA football and men's basketball would probably be the only two they should include if they really find it necessary to further disrupt the lives of college kids with a trip after their seasons are done.

Barack sent a generic congratulatory tweet to their team, but I doubt he would embarrass and undermine Joe by having this team over.
