Lots of interesting sentencing coming up.

I also wonder what would have been their punishment in other countries.

Their private planes would have been shot out of the sky. I believe many of the top planners deserve the death penalty. Traitors.

People further up the chain deserve the death penalty. These are still the bottom of the barrel wrt this insurrection.

No one has done a damn thing about those people within the secret service, fbi etc who allowed this to happen.

It's recently been revealed that Jack Smith has obtained the deleted texts of all the Secret Service employees who were in attendance. What kind of crappy LE "professional" doesn't know you can't simply delete texts and calls and they will be gone? They must not be paying attention at in-service training. Probably too hung over.

Source? I thought most of the messages were unrecoverable.

We'd be hearing more about this if it was true. I knew things were beyond repair with those people when our president could not trust the SS detail he was given. That does not happen in this country. That was so upsetting. That's third world dictator bull shite. It's beyond unacceptable that the president could not trust the SS.

Apparently Tarrio "begging the judge for leniency," as was reported, didn't work.

not too proud now.

What do you think white privilege is?

Not being shot on sight. White Privilege is being presumed innocent until proven guilty. The darker your skin tone, the more guilty you are before being proven guilty, and therefore summary justice is assumed to be acceptable. To some people.

I recall watching it on television. Bunch of treasonous seditionists breaking into the US Capitol, members of Congress fleeing in terror as the rioters tried to overturn the will of the people, looting the core of our democracy, smoking weed, defecating, wrecking offices etc. And at that moment in time I wondered where are the Apaches to blow these people away. If it were BLM protesters or Arabs I'm 100 percent certain the military would have been called in pronto. 1/6 is the very definition of white privilege. MAGA republicans are anti-American scum. They are very fortunate that due process was granted to them.

Due process is a right we all have. Don't become them. Otherwise I agree with you whole heartedly.

How is PP “becoming” “them”? They correctly pointed out that had it not been a group of entitled, politically protected and pampered White guys, the coup attempt would have been put down immediately and violently.

He’ll miss 5 Presidential elections, 6 w/ probation. Who will emerge as the new Young Fascist leaders now that Tarrio and Rhodes are behind bars?

But Trump will pardon them all if he gets re-elected.
