The kidnapper got nothing out of this. No ransom, didn’t steal anything from the house . . . What’s the point then?

I imagine her mom died during the struggle or soon afterwards. They dumped her body and went slient as that wasn't part of the plan

As many have said, her.mom should.not.have been living alone in that home.

You’re a b—tch. People with physical mobility limitations can live by themselves just fine with the appropriate supports. What happened here was an awful and rare tragedy.
