Why delete? This thread is one of the best windows into the minds of private school parents. Very educational.

Because it makes your kids' school look better.

Nope. My kid goes to STA which has a team no where near anyone's top rankings. I just know lacrosse. MaxPrep is garbage.

Have you seen the national rankings lately? Landon is ranked no. 143, Georgetown Prep no 211 and Bullis no. 265. This entire thread is a joke. The people on here bragging all the time have the worse teams.

I think Jeremy played football at the U and Justin plays lacrosse at UMD.

Still baffled on Prep's win over Gonzaga or St. Stephens losing to Norfolk Academy.

I think most can agree, Landon and Bullis are not nearly as strong as they were last year.

Landon's Jeremy Shockey (the all-Met player of the year last year) is now vacuuming up face-offs for the University of Maryland. (Too bad he backed out of going to Navy, though.) Have never seen a more dominant HS face-off man -- has to be a massive impact on Landon even with a talented new FOGO. I know they lost a bunch of guys but he was a once in a generation impact player.

Yeah, we were in the stands on the Prep side. The Prep people seemed pretty astonished. Happy but definitely surprised.

Landon has big test today against Episcopal Academy from Philly.

I don't see any other noteworthy games being played in the area today.
