Well Angela certainly did it better, that’s for sure. Who could have possibly thought a bubblegum pink dress with bows was ok!?
That dress is a very cute vintage look from the late 50s or early 60s. The pink bow Easter thing just looks cheap. It looks a lot like what they used to sell for maternity clothes — like just because you wee oregnabt you had to dress like a baby.
I think also she looks really washed out and exhausted. And the contrast between the youthful color and style of the dress, with her very much not fresh appearance, makes the dress look much worse.

The fit is totally different. Angela's suit doesn't pull across her chest like she's trying to play "I'm just a liddle girl but also a great big woman" - Angela's suit fits her the way this kind of girlish look is supposed to. It's just not made for someone with Lady DWI's proportions. At least not at that size! Also it's not pink.
Look, I am a middle aged woman, too, and I too have had to reckon from going from being able to wear literally anything because I was so youthful and tiny, to having to be more thoughtful! It's not that easy. But this person is a public figure - and an odious one at that - with ample resources. If I can shop for an appropriate dress that fits, lord knows she can.
Um... you are taking this very literally. I simply posted the Angela pictures to show her wearing a prim and prissy outfit. It wasn't supposed to be a direct comparison. It was just a joke.

It would be better without the dumb bell sleeves. I feel like bell sleeves are the rabbit hole of the uncreative designer. It’s like they look at the dress and think it needs something more so they just throw bell sleeves on it.
