To clarify, Nancy was not at all "largely house-bound". She had a car and she drove herself places during the day. She would drive to CVS, park in a handicap spot and walk herself in. She drove herself to her friend's house on Sunday morning to watch an online church service from Savannah's church in NYC. She was a member of a book club for 50 years and still participated.
She was comfortable using uber. She did have a cane to sometimes assist when walking. While she hired outside help for household tasks, she lived alone and did not have a live-in aide. This means she had mobility to get to the bathroom and kitchen without assistance.
After her husband died 40 years ago, she got a job in PR at the University. I don't know when she stopped working, but I can't imagine that career, or any of her hobbies, would lead to her needing to be in witness protection. People who are seriously suggesting that need to hang out on Websleuths, not here.
