Again, super wierd that teams play for district titles and even if you lose, you can be put back into a state playoff. Most other states and sports certainly have district titles but once that happens, only the winner of the district advances. Shrugs shoulders.
Absolutely correct. The West Po defense was clicking. Robo’s defense was strong, too. Neither offense was firing on all cylinders. Goalie play by both teams was stellar from beginning to end and defined the game. Good, competitive game between two teams that wanted it.Anonymous wrote:Robinson played sloppy. Full credit to Westpo. They brought it and Robinson did enough to survive. This was the best Westpo game I've seen all year. They are very well coached.

Anonymous wrote:West Po defense played awesome. They pressed out really well and Robo O could not handle the ball at all. Robos offense got exposed. Outside of 14 and 8 none of those kids could dodge or even make a pass. Credit to West Po goalie and Robo goalie as both stood on there head. I wouldnt say Robo D played bad as they only let in 3 goals on a decent amount of shots. I saw them testing out a few different players I havent seen on the field and clearly it went wrong. I dont think the game should define Robinson as much as it should define West Po. When they are good, they are a GOOD lacrosse team. Taking Madison and Robinson to one score games isnt something that a “mediocre team” does.
3rd time playing. WesPo coaches were good enough to win it all last year and had a great approach tonight. Play slow on O and dont allow Robo to get out in transition where they create good looks. Goalies for both played great. WesPo goes to Cosby on Friday. Should be a fun game to watch as a rematch from last year’s state final.Anonymous wrote:was thinking the same thing. And it’s post-season. Teams show up differently. Robo dominated the first half but couldn’t scoreAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Robo was missing #4 tonight and it threw off the entire team. Maybe not in great fashion… but Robo still won
