My heart aches for their pain.
Hopefully this month will finally bring them the answers they so desperately deserve.
They will not get answers for a long time, if ever. The investigation has gone nowhere since day 1. The woman and her captor seem to have vanished into thin air and law enforcement is useless to discern more. She was 84 and not in great health- she isn’t coming home and the family truly might never know what happened to her. That isn’t being pessimistic, it’s just true. The news has got to move on as is this is a cold case at this point and the family should move into processing her disappearance and treating it as a death. Hopefully one day they will at least get to bury her remains if someone finds them.

This is likely the truth.
It is sad but makes the most sense. 💔
To be whisked away from your home in the dead of night…..leaving only your blood drops as a viable clue…..then to never be heard from for a month {and counting.}
Whoever took her must not have done so for the money because wouldn’t they have gotten it by now??
Maybe this person took the victim as a revenge act >> perhaps they are mad at Savannah for a story she did or…..?
Because who would want to feed and care for an elderly woman for this long??
Especially one who had severe health challenges?

It shows how much pressure they must be under to secure an arrest.
It is interesting that no one has mentioned receiving any more ransom messages.
I wonder if the person (or persons) behind them quit corresponding or maybe the authorities are not making them public any longer.
It sickens me the people that are taking selfies in front of Nancy’s home - - they should be arrested for doing this!
You’re a couple of news stories behind. There were never legitimate ransom notes.
Well if the ransom notes were never legitimate, the press sure gave them a ton of media attention from the beginning.
I mean shoot, Harvey Levin was practically making a second career out of speaking publicly on receiving them.
I follow this case daily and have not heard definitively that the ransom notes have been officially discredited for good.

I wish these cameras would leave them alone. That’s awful. I am sure they willed like to spend time in their moms home without being watched — it is sometimes comforting to be among their things and to look at old pictures she may have, etc — that’s part of the grieving process and they are being denied that by being under constant scrutiny.
Why did they bother to go there? No need. They wanted the cameras to see them.
They wanted to acknowledge the support of neighbors and thank them. Same reason why when famous people pass away, the family usually goes and looks at the flowers.

She was not taken to Mexico. That is the dumbest theory.
No, the dumbest theory is that she is in witness protection.
