I think so too, from what they said in the press conference. They would have just said no if that wasn’t the case, I think.
Also, she’s probably been trying to communicate with him and asking him to fulfill his false promises, realized it’ll never happened and flipped.
Not sure how her defense will play out now, if BB was paying for it.

Now that he’s in jail, I can say that. He sat right next to me at Juliana’s hearing. I was sitting at the end of the bench and he was like “Can I sit here?” So arrogant and with such a sense of superiority. His whole energy was draining me.

Absolutely true. It's always about the money. They also don't want to lose their house, and don't want to pay child support.

What about the mother's family? Why should Banfield's mother get her?
Because while he remains under the presumption of innocence, he has legal custody of his daughter and thus the right to determine with whom and where she will live while he is indisposed pending trial. He might get out on bail and continue to primary parent her, who knows. At some point if the mother’s family can make a showing that the paternal grandmother is unfit then maybe they get custody.
