WHAT? That's barely any time left for the appeal, especially if parents are interested in private testing...
Put in a FERPA request for your child's academic records. FCPS gives itself a 5 day deadline to comply
Why? Would would that get you? We already have the packet.

She responded saying that the AAP office is working on notifications, so she’s sure we will hear soon. So this means that she will not be sending out anything until they do, is my guess.
Which school?
Navy.
How soon is soon? Why does it take so long to send...an email??

Yes. I just got a message from the AART that our child got in. Child is 5th grade and did not get in in second grade.
Yet another AART going rogue but congratulations. I am sure it's a relief after all these years. I am in the same boat.
AART did not go ‘rogue’. It was sent to ALL parents whose child got into AAP. The Principal and all the APs are ccd.
Point is, some AARTs will bother while others won’t. This is totally screwed up. They need some level of consistency in at least the notification process!!!

I am applying from private and have not heard either - if anything I assume we'd hear later than current FCPS students. (Website says "early April.") But I believe the AART at your base school is the one you'd contact.
I thought private school applicants would get notified sooner since you have to decide earlier for next years enrollment deadline (to remain private or not...)
