Well, I did respond to that lady who was feeding her DH and 3 teen boys one chicken drumstick each for dinner and was confused as to why they were always hungry and ordering pizzas after dinner. I told her my toddler DD typically ate 2-3 drumsticks and she was nuts...and I stand by that post.

Haters and Judgers on all forums.

The pandemic police on the travel forum.

Overall, the horrible and hateful relationship and personal advice is alternately entertaining and then leaves me thinking our society is doomed. Ask Carolyn Hax or see a therapist, this is not the place.

I mean, this is actually a really common opinion among UMC professional women. I doubt it's only "one or two" awful posters in the preschool forming saying this.

Carters and Target are useful because they're cheap and kids stain or outgrow their clothes so quickly but I wouldn't call them high quality clothing brands.

NP. And?! You think a child is to be held "responsible" for what brands the adults choose for them? At the very least, call the kid's parents "trashy," don't call the kid trashy. Or just dony be a shit person at all.

+1 it takes an especially insecure, disgusting, type of woman to call a child trashy. I remember there was one public school teacher here (so not even rich) who mocked kids dressed in “cheap clothing” and asked why they couldn’t buy used Hanna like she did.

I think Hanna is ugly anyway.

Nobody cares. I hope people say this stuff out loud so I can unfriend them and move on to less shallow and judgmental people

I never knew people cared so much about what kids wore until this forum. I blissfully had the belief that most adults weren't concerned with that unless the child's attire/appearance suggested they were being neglected. Eye-opening.

Yeah I also thought that as long as they were weather appropriately dressed and clean and not dressed like toddlers and tiaras types, nobody cares with preschoolers. But there are apparently teachers that call kids white trash because they aren’t wearing Hanna clothes.

There are a couple kids whose moms are smug about dressing them in stuff like bubbles and overalls for boys and bows/dresses at preschool and I think they’re actually inappropriately dressed because they’re so uncomfortable and can’t get their stupid one piece outfits off in the bathroom.

Yes, the know-it-all toddler moms are super annoying. Especially when they only have one kid.

Actually, that goes for moms of all ages with one kid - especially one without challenges.

-- Mom of 5 who also thought she had mothering all figured out when she had only her easy going first born but who has learned humility over the years, including that nature plays a big role in child temperament

This is so tue. I also had an easy first born and remember thinking smugly that this isn't so hard - what are all these people complaining about? Then came child #2 who was an insomniac from day 1 and #3 who loved to scream.

The parents insist that all teenagers must be drinking, doing, drugs, and having sex, and if you think yours isn't you are lying to yourself or your kid is lying to you.

+1 I have only done it once (you're versus your) but I applaud the people who take on this task and help school the unschooled. I wish one of you would begin addressing "who" and "that." My dentist would appreciate it because that misuse really makes me grind my teeth.
