You’re just a complete idiot. Sorry. The pandemic determines when we get to go back to normal. The fact that Biden actually wants to try to control it using public health measures means that will happen sooner than the alternative. But honestly you just sound really stupid so you probably won’t understand that.

Anonymous wrote:So... mine is 6 too. We talk about it a lot, but in a certain way. Factual but light...we set the tone, they adopt it. "yeah this might be one really weird school year! but one out of life isnt that bad right? at least we get to hang out!" "Its so awesome we have zoom to talk to grandpa during the germ problem, imagine if we didnt!" and I tell them we do not know if a vaccine will come for years, but, the scientists are working and will probably find some good treatments and things will ease up in a year. We have sprinkled these comments throughout the last few months adn it has helped. At first they thought it would be better by summer, but now they know its taking longer and we all just float on.

I did, and found nothing supporting that ridiculous claim.

Her own live video. Not that you'll let facts get in the way of your idiotic optimism.
I scanned through the video. I'm not going to claim I watched the whole thing, but I tried to stop when the governor was making remarks. I heard nothing about "permanent" social distancing requirements or gathering restrictions. And again, there's nothing that I've seen on that in the press. Got a timecode in the 2 hour video you linked to?
Not specifically off-hand. About 45 minutes in, she talks about how the restrictions are good for colds and the flu and therefore should be continued post-vaccine.
As the last poster said, I *very* strongly suspect you misinterpreted the statement. It's one thing to recommend masks and generally being more careful when you're sick, it's something entirely different to suggest legal requirements to practice social distancing, wear masks, and limit gathering sizes would continue.
Sure, I suspect we'll see more people wearing masks during flu season, but I highly doubt we'll see legal orders continue past the pandemic.
You have too much trust in the government you hate
Huh? I'm seriously not following.
You're trusting Trump's government to drop restrictions, even though you hate him.

NP - if it were up to Trump we’d have no restrictions. All the various restrictions come from the state and local governments at this point. The federal government (for better or for worse) has 0% to do with it.

We will probably be like Asia, where when one feels sick and must be outside, one wears a mask voluntarily. It's not illegal not to wear a mask right now, so I seriously doubt once the pandemic is under control that there will be any appetite for mandatory mask wearing.
It's funny how you think "technically not illegal" means it doesn't drastically affect people's lives.
