BETHESDA SC NOW HOLDING EXTERNAL TRYOUTS
Are you looking to join BSC for the 2020-2021 season? If you are from outside our program and looking to join our club for next season please contact:
BOYS
U7-U11: Trevor Martin tmartin@bethesdasoccer.org
U12-U14: Brett Colton bcolton@bethesdasoccer.org
U15-U19 Matt Ney mney@bethesdasoccer.org
Girls
U7-U11: Eric Tin etin@bethesdasoccer.org
U12-U14: Dave Greene dgreene@bethesdasoccer.org
U15-U19: Kevin Layton klayton@bethesdasoccer.org
In your email please include: your player's first and last name, their year of birth, and some general information about them (how long they have been playing soccer, what positions they like to play etc.).
If, as one of the earlier threads suggested, BSC has already given out invites for roster spots on their top teams, are these external tryouts only for their 2nd teams and below? We're interested in the U12-U14 age-group.
We are members on the U12-U14 Girls side. Coach Dave Greene will place girls on top team if they are talented. That is FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE and cannot be debated. He purposely has left a couple roster spots open for each team. He also said he will move weaker/less dedicated players down if need be.
I cannot speak for other ages however. Hope this helps.
+1. Would agree with information. Also keep in mind at younger ages - kids change a lot. Don’t let “top” players already on team currently mean there is not room for change.

Sounds like a bottom player ECNL parent trying to hold on to a roster spot for their kid.
bwahaha. you all are so spiteful- its pretty pathetic. there doesnt have to be an alterior motive in everyones comments.
What was stated is that coaches policy. Period.
So you all can go back to your lame Northern VA childish arguments, mmmkay?

+1. What the PP said made no sense. All the player has to be is better than any of the starting 11.

It seems pretty likely BSC would reserve a few spots for transfers on top teams. I really doubt that top teams are already full.
