And it seems to be lost on you that travel is how this thing has made it to nearly 90 countries worldwide.
But lots of people who stayed put got it too!
Thanks to travelers who can’t stay put. Just travelers from or to Italy exported Coronavirus to some 40 countries.
This needs to be repeated.. repeatedly.
But what's your point? You want to shut down all air travel now? Then say that. No need to throw blame around.
Blame? These are facts.
Since it needs to be more clear out for you:
* All unnecessary travel is short sighted/foolish/egocentric and puts individuals, communities, states, and countries at risk.*
Okay great. Then have these big rich corporations GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK. We'll wait.

Thought I was lucky getting Hamilton tickets , but then..
I’m still planning to see Hamilton at KC in July... I think we will see fewer cases as spring comes around personally.
I'm not buying any tickets. Last time I went to the symphony, the coughing and throat clearing was driving me nuts. Sadly, I decided I rather listen to a recording, than "cough, cough, cough".
Yeah, I peeked into the Hamilton waitlist thread and was surprised that so many people were trying for tickets again. Then realized that I should not be surprised. People are just burying their heads in the sand and are choosing to believe this pandemic is no big deal.

Portugal has no cases.

I care for an elderly parent, so yes I’m quite worried about contracting the virus and passing it along. However, I could just as easily become infected traveling as I could going to the grocery store. I don’t think we will travel over spring break though. Seems like borrowing trouble. https://youtu.be/iDelUkpFm60

I'd only be concerned if I worked in health care; otherwise, I'm not cancelling any of my plans.

Anonymous wrote:Wondering if anyone could weigh in for me. We bought tickets on a Disney cruise for spring break early last week before the coronavirus thing got out of control. STUPID I know! Cruise is April 10 to the Caribbean.
I am still within the 2 week window for travel insurance. If I purchase it, it will cost $400, and then I’ll get my money back for cancelling for any reason (minus $900, I believe). So I will be out a total of $1300 between the cost of insurance plus the Co-pay or whatever they call it.
So what do I do? Buy the insurance? What are the chances that Disney cancels this? No way in hell am I getting on the ship. One of my kids has asthma and I do not want to screw around.
