I don't think it is common to go from first diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment (which is NOT dementia) to bed-ridden dementia in a year's time! According to various medical sites that I've looked at including Mayo Clinic and Alzheimer's Association (b/c my FIL is in progress from MCI to dementia), it takes years (like 7-10) to go from nothing to the end.



That's not necessarily true. Some drugs can slow the progression, but it is difficult to predict. For instance, a major respiratory illness or a fall can speed up progression. My dad progressed in 2 years.

I don't remember how the scene went down exactly. Could it be that Kevin is still speaking to Randall, but the "we" he uses if for Rebecca's benefit, to show she is speaking to Randall and thinks that Kevin has blocked him as well? I could see that. If Randall spilled the beans to Kevin and Kate, they would be grateful not angry with Randall, but they might need to put on a show of siding with Rebecca to keep her calm.

Rebecca's worrying about losing her early Jack memories is really sad and moving. And I think Miguel should be commended - no doubt he knows that this is one of her biggest fears, and probably grieves with her. I think Miguel's love for Rebecca is really selfless.

I also love seeing Kate emerge as a great mom. Not sure what lies in the future for her and Tobes, but she is kicking butt.

The Kevin/John Legend plot was ridiculous.


Agree with all this. Rebecca will lose her memories of Miguel before she loses them of Jack, right? Don't the most recent memories go first? If so, this will be really painful for Miguel, I would think. I hope they give some good backstory of Miguel. I want to see scenes of him as a child in PR and then in the U.S. Of all the areas yet un-mined in this show, this has the most potential.

I love her! I’d be happy to hang out with either the actress or the character. They both remind me of my friends.

On a show-related note, I saw Susan Kelechi-Watson on a 2015 episode of "Say Yes to the Dress" this morning. She was there with her friend, Napiera, who was the bride.
