Given the content of the thread and the fact that this poster decided to post here at all, I’m good with my comments and think they are appropriate. But thanks for your concern.
OMG. Just put words in their mouth and attack them. Never wrong. Always looking for a fight.
FCV = Fight Club Virginia.
For all the talk about fighting, you are the one doing the name calling. Was that your post on “Titan” as well? Very interesting personalities in this thread.
Different poster. The Titan post was weird. I was the fight club poster. I said that because you went after the poster who never even mentioned your club and refused to see how that was wrong when it was pointed out to you.
That's not true. Comments in that chain indicated that FCV did not have a unique, club standardized style. This thread in general has been very negative toward FCV. Again, the comments were appropriate.
Let's stop re-iterating and +1ing trolling posts now, unless I'm correct and it's you who prefer to fight.
I can only laugh at the StJ FCV defender. Bash every club in every thread, throws hands up when ref doesnt blow the whistle for something you think is a foul.

No, they didn't. I knew the poster didn't mean FCV because of how the post was worded. So I asked which one. Stop being so insecure.

Learn to play both possession and direct. Learn to play with patience and urgency, but know when. Again, situational awareness and critical thinking skills built through disciplined practice that turns into instinct is what we want our coaches to teach and our players to learn. That is what I posted several posts back. I mistakenly said “all” clubs to emphasize my point, when I really meant “most.” How am I qualified? Watching years of youth soccer across many clubs, coaching, watching years of pro soccer, and playing for 40+ years. Watch the Liverpool victory over Barca. Good example of urgency, pressure, and direct play that shocked Barca into submission. However, we’ve also seen Liverpool possess for long stretches. Balanced play with a willingness and ability to adapt.
No disagreement there. But those players as youth players learned to play the right way and are able to switch styles as the game demands. I was referring to teaching the game to our youth players when the development curve is the steepest.
Yes agree. Not disparaging your post at all, but rather some of the possession only zealots. I agree with your prior post too.
