Nah - he is. Twitter, The Week, etc have been buzzing about him the last 24-48 hours. His issue is if he can rack up wins on super tuesday. He would hammer trump in a general IMO but in a primary - hmm.

Super tuesday - bama, cali, mass, nc, ok, tn, tx, vermont, va.

That's not very fertile Sherrod Brown territory IMO.

Sherrod Brown seems to be exploring a run - he'll be very formidable.

In 2016, the largest voting bloc was not Hillary voters and not Trump voters: it was “did not vote.” IMO, we need to focus on these voters and make serious efforts to get traditionally Democratic (but often inconsistent in turning out) groups like young people and people of color.

Trying to water yourself down to “Republican-lite” in an effort to appeal to the mythical “Republican swing voter” is stupid and way less effective than mobilizing your base. Dems need to understand that and stop chasing these people. Do you think Republicans are sitting around discussing how they need to embrace progressive ideas to win? Of course not. Beto, Gillum, Abrams, Tester, Baldwin...all unapologetic about their principles and did MUCH better than Donnelly, McCaskill, Bredesen types who tried to position themselves as “moderate Republicans.”
