LAMB's board chair sent an email and said the lawsuit being handled by their insurance carrier. Same as the previous one.

DC law would need to be amended to give the PCSB this authority -- so discussing with Grosso is the what needs to happen.
The PCSB only has authority over schools' academic performance and fiscal mismanagement. Pearson / the board members don't have the authority you think they do.

Maybe Grosso needs a refresher on what is within DCPCSB's "purview", but he contradicts you on the show. His comments on the matter can be heard towards the end of the recording.
Then it sounds like a court needs to sort it out -- the PCSB is convinced they don't have this authority.
Someone can bring a lawsuit against the PCSB alleging they failed to exercise sufficient due diligence over LAMB (or any other school) and see what happens.
