DH says " I don't recall" and it drives me bonkers.

"What say you"

Usually said on a news commentary show when a guest is asked their opinion about an issue.

Physical year

What is "physical year?" Is that someone trying to say fiscal year? Wow!

This one has been posted before, but can't be posted enough. It's so annoying ridiculous. Also annoying, describing oneself as a mommy. Srsly?

Hate the term Bling. So stupid!
What was up with the Olympians biting their medals? Again, stupid!

I have a question. What is the proper way to sign emails? Best wishes?
Thanks.

Love,

Actually, the most professional way to sign it would be to say

And another tip: do the nanu nanu handshake (as seen in the image above) when you meet someone. It's the secret businessperson handshake. It will show how worldly you are.

THere is really no "proper" way. Do you mean for business? I usually sign "Regards/Warm Regards/Kindest Regards" depending on the content of the email. Sometimes (not often) "Sincerely".

Warm regards makes me think the sender just went her pants.

Oh, yes.

I hate hearing anyone over the age of about 7 calling their parents "Mommy" and "Daddy"--especially when they are talking to someone else. Like a 30 year old woman saying, "I'm going to out to dinner with Daddy tomorrow". Yuck.

Or when people call their grandmother "Mee Maw." Horrifying.

Perfect storm, classy and Miss.

Where I come from calling a grown woman 'Miss' is the equivalent of calling a black man 'Boy.'

"Pop of color"
"Meh"
"Viral"
"Don't get your panties in a twist/undies in a bunch"
People I barely know signing e-mails with "xoxo"
Apostrophes on non-possessive plural words, like "Car's" instead of "Cars"

Love the book "Eats Shoots and Leaves" about grammar.

I totally agree! These people are also the ones that you truly like but have to hide on FB because they clog up your newsfeed with myriad photos of their kid. Like nobody else has ever seen a baby in an adorable outfit before?!

I have to disagree with "Asshat" though. There is a time and place for that word and, when used correctly, it actually means a lot!
