So OP, I want you to know that sharing your story has made a difference for others, both in appreciating what we have and doing our part to help -- and I too hope you find comfort and peace this holiday.
NP here. I also joined the registry more than 2 years ago after reading your post. I haven't gotten a call yet, but will be happy to donate should the match ever be made. OP, please know that your post not only sent out ripples of love, but also triggered ripples of action that may help save other daughters.

So sorry OP, glad you were able to come to some kind of peace. I lost an immediate family member and now that I am pregnant I have been thinking a lot about how it must have effected my mom differently than I thought even then. I hope you are ok today.
