The overwhelming majority of BLC players are expected to move on to Capital. There’s no harm in securing a few offers from Maryland clubs as well, there’s no loyalty in club lacrosse. Keep your options open, see how things develop, and make a decision when the time comes.
Players have to make a decision the next day and sign the contract. I’m not sure how a player who’s accepted on Capital can wait till the July tryouts to make a decision between Capital and a Baltimore team with that timeline.

For any of the girls on another team that make it, I hope the news doesn’t get out until they are ready to share it.
I hope that people can be discreet about tryouts and lists that come out this week, no need to stir the pot as these families are trying to navigate changes
Why should someone be discreet about another families decision? Especially if that decision affects more than just them?
I’d keep it quiet if it concerned my kid, but I don’t think the community has a responsibility to keep my secrets, secret.

Anonymous wrote:This year the 2030 Cap team will just basically be BLC 2030. Cap this year is not seeking the best talent from local teams...a move they will ultimately regret. BLC 2030 could never compete against the Baltimore teams, never made the finals of any major tournament and couldn't even crack the NGLL top 5 A division.
