I'm glad Jordan told the drunk wedding story rather than allow himself to be pushed under the bus. Also good to hear Vanessa explain that Alex's behavior comes from a lot of trauma (she had a tough childhood herself) Ultimately the show seems to have learned that full on take downs are not ok and everyone there is a flawed person.
Yeah it was really being framed as he's just a frat boy doofus who couldn't handle adulting. She's not ready for a relationship, she hates men! Like says how much she hates them on TV! And then acting like being invited to be his plus-one was an unrealistic expectation he was putting on her, as opposed to a perfectly normal part of being a couple, was super strange.
Brittany's dad was so kind and genuine. Devonte's kid is screwed, I'm sad to say.
Probably by the first woman who gave his box built body the time of day. It seems really rushed to just up and have a baby on the way. He spent 3 months of the year breaking up with Brit then it takes 2 months for a positive test result so how much does he even know this woman?
He knows her enough to see she’s a white woman. When he saw Brittany was a WOC that was it.

Jordan said Amber spent a lot of time screaming - I wonder what Lil Emma will grow up thinking about men.

Yeah, I got bad vibes from him, but Jess seems like a bit of a mess as well. Goes to show you how editing is really so misleading sometimes. We saw that with Jordan and Amber too with everyone so ready to deem him immature when it turns out she had the bigger issues.

But was it really necessary to embarrass him on a world stage and disrespect his mother siting there?
We would not have been happy if she did not explain her reasoning.
I think her remarks were restrained.
Sorry, but if you are fragile perhaps you should not go on a reality TV show.
NP-I disagree. Which was it: she admired him being resilient in the face of trauma and obstacles, or she hated him all along because he was a liar? She tried to have it both way at the wedding, and it did not make sense she'd even go there at all if he was so horrible. She clearly was hoping for "her moment" and seemed so gleeful afterwards like she thought she came off great, but she did not since he just stood there and took most of it pretty calmly. And to be clear I don't like Alex so this isn't me defending him at all, but it felt very staged and silly.
Agree, she and her father seemed gleeful and had clearly planned this before. "You got this, you're Ashley Carpenter!" Gag.
Alex is a horrible partner, lies all the time. But it's clear he has lots of trauma and lying to whomever and being who they want is his defense mechanism. Doesn't mean Ashley has to put up with that, but she saw through it early on and then just stuck with it in order to do her wedding speech. She did not come off great either. It's not like something horrible happened the day before to change her mind or something.
She was obviously hurt, and defensive. She is human.
And undoubtedly there is epic disappointment when you have convinced yourself that you found “ your person,” only to be lied to again. And rejected on top of things.
Was this what was actually driving her to make that speech?
Alex said he warned her the day before he would say no so she went and wrote up a speech to make her look good but she lost.

Agree - when Chris texted Bri after the party, he was like "do you want me to respond?". So, he would have stepped in. But Bri said she would handle it and he trusts her. That seems like a great response. Who wants someone who is going to throw a table at a bar when there was no immediate threat?
I bet he has so many women in his DMs right now. He will find someone great. I also think Bri is misjudging his career. Every time he says he's "blue collar" people around him snicker.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Bri is such a male identified loser. She was very unapologetic to Jess for entertaining Chris or to Brittany for the weird Austin trip.
She did apologize to Jess, but I think she and Brittany were the same kind of girl (competing for all the male attention in the room kind of girl) and she didn't feel any loyalty to her so she didn't care. She picked "Devo" in that breakup and doesn't acknowledge a girl code could exist between her and Brittany.
I feel like honestly Brittany didn't have many (/any, except for Amber maybe?) female friendships form in this show. She bought the dress and came for the boys and that's where her head was at. The girls were just competition. I mean did she ever tell Ashley about Alex's weird come-on in Mexico?
