Based on his recent online presence, Boelter’s views now appear to align with the political “far right” of Christianity in the United States. Its core believes in demons and satanic evil in the world and a need “to fight back against it,” Taylor said. He added that the group disseminates “very extreme” rhetoric about abortion, which he said some of its leaders have portrayed as a form of child sacrifice that empowers demons. Boelter “seems very much to embrace some of the violent rhetoric and ideas that circulate through those spaces,” Taylor said.

so, other than harassing people what good are the police?
So you're in favor of police arresting people who haven't committed any crime? On what basis?
The first shootings were at the Hoffman's house, whose daughter called police.
Then he went to the home of a rep in Maple Grove (believed to be Kristin Bahner) but nobody was home (caught on camera)
Police contacted other LE agencies
New Hope (11 minutes away) officer goes to Sen Ann Rest home, sees Boelter outside in his SUV with his lights on. Tries to talk to him and he DOES NOT RESPOND. I read that New Hope PD has 31 officers so not a big PD, and whether they had the information that he was impersonating LE I don't know, but if you're dealing with shooting of public official and indications more officials are likely targets that requires a heightened level of awareness.

These communications will all be part of his legacy. Never say never, but it seems impossible that any future President will ever top the embarrassing record he leaves behind. Historians will marvel at the abject absurdity of our President, his voters, and our country during this current era.
Here's what's sick - the Trump White House is only releasing around 13% of the transcripts from his public events. It's likely because he's been becoming more and more rambling and incoherent and more and more prone to going off script and that, and his mental decline are what would be reflected in the transcripts.
