She changed for the ceremony, which I found a little surprising. Though possibly the bustle and fit of the skirt in the bronze dress were not sit-down friendly. No full shot of it yet. It's pretty and the kind of dress Zendaya looks effortless in but a mortal like me would look frumpy and bumpy in, but doesn't have that gasp-worthy glamour of her red carpet dress. I also don't think it works quite as perfectly with her hair, and I wish we'd seen more of that necklace:

Do we know how they would have known each other? I was wondering if the friend he thanked also died by suicide and so he felt particularly sympathetic .

Regarding Zendaya...apparently, she has a strict contract with BVLGARI stipulating that she only wear their jewelry on the red carpet. They confirmed 'that ring' is not theirs, and it was also not featured in something they posted showing off the jewelry she's wearing tonight.

OK thanks for that back ground and now it makes much more sense. I could not follow what he was saying as I was distracted by the phone but I am so sorry to hear of the suicide and his grief.

That dude in the mint green suit is really irritating me in that he won’t take off that bucket hat indoor. Only Gilligan can get away with wearing a bucket hat indoors. Or Shaggy from Scooby doo.

I thought the musical was just okay for all the hype. I didn’t think it was nearly as good as either Hamilton or Hadestown.
