Lauren Sanchez certainly seems likely to be MAGA…

He's a greedy ass**** and only cares about $$$ and power. I don't think it's Sanchez. I think it's all about $$$ and power. He's an egomaniac.

And she is so gross, by the way. Major downgrade from Mackenzie.

I know, right? Dating a fifty-something hooker with a plastic face.

What local news sources do you support? I’m on the lookout for new ones as the Post’s local coverage dwindles down.

The Baltimore Sun is locally owned by a Sinclair executive.

For Montgomery County, The MoCo Show. Has a blog, Facebook, and Instagram pages. Lots of local news that doesn't make it into he Post or sometimes the local TV news.

We need the post, flaws and all, because it is still one of the best papers in the country, especially for long form and series writing. Plus they still offer some legit local coverage of events. So by all means, cancel away but you are just putting journalist out of work and killing another paper.

+1

I didn't cancel to hurt Bezos, I cancelled because we could not longer afford it, and the local coverage has been lacking.

The best thing about subscribing was the comics and paying $600 a year for comics was not in our budget. And I still had to read the MoCo Show on social media to keep up with Montgomery County news.

Occasionally there are good articles, but I really don't want to hear non stop.about Trump for the next four years. And pay for it.

Be careful with new local news sites.

MD has a few that are RW however they present as both sides. Reading them cognitively they are RW pretending to be neutral.

Read carefully please

Uh, a loss of 200K+ subscribers has hurt them. I use Apple News and DH goes on cnn.com.

Of course, and when it fails it will be his failure. Other news outlets will emerge, the respectable journalists will move on. Frankly, I’m not sure if I’d trust much of the journalism at the Post these days if these people are still working for Bezos. Soon it will be seen as the same as working at X.
