Nope. Nothing. When do they usually start practices? DS is HS aged. I’m not sure if things are different for older teams

I have no idea when they start because we are new too! Would really like to know at least the fall tournament schedule and when practices begin.

The Herndon coaches my dc have had play all the players. Its sad to think of kids moving "up" to a giant FVU roster and fighting for a chance to dress, let alone play. Buyer beware, I guess.

Parents never think their kid will be kid #16-26z. Their kid has always been one of the best players on his team! It honestly doesn't even occur to people as a possibility, even when they hear rumors of large rosters.

We have a family friend whose kid is going back to his ecnl-rl team after they were so excited he got a spot on ecnl last year.

Some kids move up and don't have to fight for a spot. If that is a concern, it seems fair to talk to the coach about playing time going in. I'd certainly ask how many kids they are putting on the team. I know FCV liked to have thirty on the roster, but I don't know about FVU. That may vary from one coach to another, too.
