Get a grip. Who at Valor hurt you? Let me guess Tex mex food trucks are racist too!
Get a grip, who would choose those working conditions when they could just go down the road to the well-run tournament without all the drama and problems, for presumably the same pay? (Does anyone know the pay scales?)
Because there is no drama and problems for refs at "well run" tournaments. 😂😂😂. Good grief.
As someone methodically went through the teams, there is a real possibility that all of your perceived grievances are only yours and your kid clearly isn't involved so I do not understand why you keep harping on it.

Location matters more.

I'm not at the level in question, but I've actually heard a LOT of complaints in referee forums about pay and other issues in MLS Next.
Can you share the links to these referee forums? I'd like to follow along.
PS: The pay scales for the FPYC's Father's Day Tournament hasn't been released yet, but in my experience, I bet it will be similar to some travel tournaments...and most travel tournaments pay much lower than league games and each tournament pays differently. It's really crazy. For example, I think WAGS pays the worst. This rec tournament will probably pay the same as WAGS. And each league has different pay scales. Every 2-year age grouping has different pay scales. Center referee and ARs are paid differently. Some tournaments and some leagues use 3-man crews for U12 and lower. Some use only one-man crews. And for tournaments, most assignors want you to commit to refereeing BEFORE they even post the pay scales. So it's not easy to sift through all the games out there and determine what's the best value for your time, etc.
