Because if you're not a member of the Democratic Party and outside the beltway, there are people who are still Republican that feel alienated.

This was Biden's chance to show he's strong, but also to show there is room on his coattails for Republicans that want to support him.

The more he talks, the more he fumbles. Any wins from the first half-hour are drooping.

The courts overturned a lot of Trump's "protocols" because they were unconstitutional, and Title 42 only applied for as long as there was a pandemic - and to remind you it was Republicans who were in such a hurry to say the pandemic was over.
