Depending on AOS/AET - they take the average of 3 sections

FOR AET - It is avg of all sections except scientific thinking
FOR AOS - It is avg of all sections except tech logic


Test part is only 1/4 of the criteria..Below is criteria

1) 6,7 and 1st quarter of 8th grades
2) Essay part of the test
3) stem critical thinking part of the test

On top of these - each school has a quota. This system is unfair to students from the top competitive MS in the county .

Writing Assessment
STEM Thinking Skills Assessment
Final grade of C or above in math and science courses in grades 6 and 7, and semester I of grade 8

And little bit Luck in addition to those above.

Let’s email AOL people if there is any chance of notifying kids about their chances on waitlist . Its too painful to sit on the fence for almost 5 months .

If this is the scenario then why do some kids getting rejections in one of these 2 while they got into another one🤔
